How do I reduce my water consumption?
- Turn off the water while brushing your teeth, showering or shaving.
- Limit the use of your bath tub. The water consumption of a 5 minutes long shower is around 50 liters of water while the consumption of a bath tub is around 150 liters of water.
- Do not let the water run while doing the dishes. Use the sink stopper or a bowl instead.
- Do not thaw frozen food in running tap water. Put the food in the refrigerator well in advance instead. In that way you will save water and utilize the cold from the frozen food.
