Innovative new tool
Following Brunata’s long tradition of innovation, the company has developed a system for wireless mapping of temperature, humidity and energy consumption. The system – WebMon Visual – continuously monitors energy efficiency of a building, which makes it a very useful tool in the fight to reduce CO2-emission.
Daily status monitoring
With this system, completely new opportunities for very detailed logging of very large amounts of data are provided. Thus, by monitoring a room’s interior climate status around the clock it is possible to fine tune the heat consumption pattern and to visualise where there is room for improvements in the building.
WebMon Visual at Brunata
WebMon Visual is, of course, installed in Brunata’s main office building in Herlev/ Cph. Here the system helps monitor the company’s energy consumption thereby making it possible for Brunata to contribute directly to the reduction of CO2 emission. Furthermore, having the system installed in the working environment of Brunata provides a basis for continuous research and development of the system.
Energy reduction in Ingeniørhuset
WebMon Visual was also installed in Ingeniørhuset – The building of the Danish Society of Engineers – in order to make a thorough investigation of the energy efficiency of the building. Here it has shown that the energy consumption was 24% higher than it should be. The system and the results of the investigation in Ingeniørhuset are described in more detail in an article in the DBDH magazine Hot – Cool 4/2007! Read the article here
