Better together:

Brunata and ZENNER

announce the merger in Hungary

Brunata and ZENNER, leading companies in the field of water, heat and energy measurement solutions, announce the merger of their subsidiaries in Hungary, creating BRUNATA ZENNER. This important step is part of an extensive project to strengthen and reorganize the multinational Brunata-Minol-ZENNER group, of which the two Hungarian companies are part, with the aim of becoming partners of the customer with the offer of complete solutions.

The group, made up of numerous companies operating worldwide, provides products and systems for consumption measurement, energy efficiency, cost distribution in buildings, electronic mobility and a wide range of Internet of Things (IoT) solutions for smart cities.

Brunata, established about 100 years ago in Denmark, specializes in heat and water metering services for buildings, with software solutions and monitoring portals for building and property managers.

ZENNER, a company founded in 1903 in Germany, is a leader in the production and marketing of heat and water metering equipment, suitable for use in single-family homes, building heating systems and district heating stations.

Thanks to the communication protocol LoRaWAN™, the meters connected by the group are already ready to be integrated into Smart Buildings and Smart Cities, allowing the user to have a better knowledge of his consumption, thus making it possible to save energy.

BRUNATA ZENNER also operates in the field of IoT, with solutions for energy monitoring and various environmental parameters to support facility management. Other proposed solutions include, for example, the monitoring of public and private parking lots and environmental conditions inside production plants and farms.

“ZENNER has been present in Hungary for many years and its products are distributed throughout the country,” says Sándor Szabó managing director of ZENNER&BECKER Kft. “The merger with Brunata will generate both administrative and operational synergies, enabling more comprehensive solutions for our customers and partners.

“Brunata’s strength is its expertise in the field of control and metering services for energy consumption, mainly water and heat,” adds Géza Forgó, managing director of Brunata Hungary Kft. “The merger with ZENNER, a manufacturer of high quality, accurate and modern meters, now allows us to apply our solutions to a much wider range of products.

The new company, named BRUNATA ZENNER Kft. and operational since January 1, 2021, will continue to serve the Hungarian market from it office located in Budapest.
