In general
Personal data is all kinds of information that, to some extent, can be attributed to you. When you use our website, we collect and process a series of such data. For example, this happens during perfectly ordinary interactions on the website. E.g., if you sign up for our newsletter, chat with our customer service robot, participate in a competition/survey, register as a new user/subscriber, or otherwise use services or make purchases via our website. When we process this information, we become a data processor, cf. the General Data Protection Regulation EU 2016/679, also known as “GDPR”.

What data is collected?
We typically collect and process the following types of information: A unique ID and technical information about your computer, tablet or mobile phone, your IP address, geographical location, and which pages you click. To the extent that you give explicit consent and enter the information yourself, we also process: name, telephone number, email, address and customer/building number.

Purpose
The information is used to identify you as a user and communicate with you in the most relevant way, to be able to provide you with the services you have requested, e.g., to receive newsletters, use our online universe, answer questions via our chat function, and to keep statistics on the interest in our website and its functions. In addition, we use the information to optimise and improve our services and content. We will never resell your information.

Legal basis for processing
Our processing is founded on the following legal bases:

  • GDPR art. 6(1), letter a, where you have given consent to the processing of your personal data for one or more specific purposes. This will be the case, for example, when subscribing to our newsletter. If you have given consent, you can withdraw it again at any time.
  • GDPR art. 6(1), letter b, where the processing is necessary for the performance of a contract to which you are a party, or for the implementation of measures taken at your request prior to the conclusion of a contract.
  • GDPR art. 6(1), letter c, where the processing is necessary to comply with a legal obligation to which we are subject, e.g., the Danish rules on marketing and marketing practices.
  • GDPR, art. 6(1), letter f, where the processing is necessary for Brunata or a third party to pursue a legitimate interest, unless your interests or fundamental rights and freedoms requiring the protection of personal data precede it.
  • GDPR, art. 9(2), letter f, where the processing is necessary for legal claims to be established, invoked or defended, or when courts act in their capacity as a court.

Safety
We process your personal data securely and confidentially, in accordance with applicable law, including the General Data Protection Regulation and the Data Protection Act.
Your information will only be used for the purpose for which it was collected, and will be deleted when this purpose has been fulfilled or is no longer relevant.

We have taken technical and organisational measures to protect your data against accidental or unlawful deletion, disclosure, loss, deterioration, unauthorised disclosure, misuse or otherwise being processed in violation of the legislation.

Retention period
We store data for the period permitted by law, and we delete it when it is no longer needed or relevant. The timeframe depends on the nature of the information and the reason for storage. Thus, it is not possible to provide a general timeframe for when information will be deleted. The storage period for cookies is specifically stated in our cookie policy.

Disclosure of information
We do not disclose your information to third-party advertisers of other/own prod-ucts and services, but only to third parties who facilitate direct communication between you and Brunata, e.g., Facebook via pixels and LinkedIn, or subcontractors for sending out our newsletter or performing statistics on the website (Google Analytics). These exclusively process information on our behalf and may not use it for their own purposes.
Disclosure of personal information such as name and email etc. will only occur if you give your consent. We only use data processors in the EU or in countries able to sufficiently protect your data.

Your rights
You have the right to be informed of the personal data we have registered about you, and to receive a copy of it in a standard format (data portability).
You can object to the use of the data at any time. You can also withdraw your consent to data about you being processed. If the information processed about you is incorrect, you have the right to have it corrected or deleted. Inquiries in this regard can be made to: brunata@brunata.com

If you no longer want us to process your personal data, or you want us to limit the processing of your personal data, you can also send a request to the e-mail address above. All rights in this section are subject to rules and exceptions listed in Chapter 2 of the GDPR.

Your rights to complain
If you want to complain about our processing of your personal data, you have the opportunity to contact the Danish Data Protection Agency

Amendments
We may need to change this policy on an ongoing basis, so that it reflects our actions and your rights at all times. The current policy will be available on our website.

We collect information about your visit using cookies. Cookies collect statistics and help us improve your user experience and show you content that is relevant to you.
We also use third-party cookies that can help us target our communication, so that you only receive news and offers from Brunata that we deem relevant to you.

What is a cookie?
A cookie is a small datafile that is saved on your computer, tablet or mobile phone. A cookie is not a program that can contain harmful programs or viruses.

How/why the homepage uses cookies
Cookies are necessary for the homepage to function. Cookies help us get an overview of your visit to the homepage so that we can continually optimise and adjust the homepage to your requirements and interests. For example, cookies remember what you might have added to a shopping cart, if you have previously visited the page, if you are logged in and what languages and currency you want displayed on the homepage. We also use cookies to target our ads to you on other homepages. On a very general level, cookies are used as part of our services in order to show content that is as relevant as possible to you.

How long are cookies saved?
How long cookies are saved on your device can vary. The time when they are scheduled to expire is calculated from the last date you visited the homepage. When cookies expire, they are automatically deleted. You can view a complete list of cookies in the cookie box.

This is how you can reject or delete your cookies
You can always reject cookies on your computer, tablet or phone by changing your browser settings. Where these settings can be found depends on the type of browser you are using. If you do change the settings, please be aware that there will be some functions and services that you cannot use because they rely on the homepage being able to remember the choices you have made.
You can choose to not receive cookies from Google Analytics here.

Deleting cookies
You can delete cookies that you have previously accepted. If you are using a PC with a recent version of a browser, you can delete your cookies by using these shortcut keys: CTRL + SHIFT + Delete.
If the shortcut keys do not work and/or you are using an Apple computer, you must find out what browser you are using and then click on the relevant link:

Remember: If you are using several different browsers, you must delete the cookies in all of them.

Versions
In case of discrepancies between this policy and the corresponding cookie policy in the cookie box on the website where you give your consent, the cookie box will always take precedence.
