What is a consumption account?

A consumption account, also referred to as a consumption statement, provides a detailed record of your heating usage, and in some cases, water and electricity consumption. This statement also indicates whether you are entitled to a refund for the on account amount you have paid or if you will be billed an additional amount.

Legally, the consumption account must be in written form and disclose your share of the property’s total expenses. It must also outline the options available to you for raising objections. Additionally, the statement must clearly specify the date on which your administrator received it.

Brunata offers a unique opportunity for residents: access to Brunata Online via a dedicated resident app. The resident app enables residents to closely monitor their energy consumption, including daily readings.

Remote reading – in accordance with EED

Brunata utilises advanced meters capable of remote reading, eliminating the need for residents to schedule reading visits. This ensures compliance with the EU’s Energy Efficiency Directive (EED).

All data is transmitted via our LoRaWAN@ network, a globally recognised and rigorously tested system that has been operational since 2015 and is based on open standards.

This network facilitates the remote reading of water, heat, gas, and electricity consumption. Additionally, it supports future IoT solutions, enabling the optimisation of building operations through the monitoring of indoor climate, humidity, mould fungus, smoke detectors, and more.
