Frequently asked questions about the Housing Service API
Many of our customers have similar questions when working with the integration. We have therefore collected the most frequently asked questions and answers below, making it easy for you to quickly find the information you need.
When Brunata receives an activation on a system, we need a few days to ensure that the data is correct between you and us.
This way, we ensure that the data we receive at a later date does not contain any errors or cause any problems.
If we receive a resident list with missing periods between moves, we insert an ‘vacant’ period.
If you use ForbrugsConnect, you must therefore ensure that the resident has been registered with a 0 DKK pre-payment notice, with the start date for the accounting period. This ensures that they are included in the resident list that is sent to Brunata via the integration. If they are missing, Brunata inserts these as ‘vacant’ periods.
If you have updated resident lists and costs in Brunata Online, you will also need to download the accounts via Brunata Online when it is finished.
If you are using UnikBolig version 2024.5 or newer, you will be reminded to update the accounts in ForbrugsConnect when the system is activated at Brunata.
Brunata recommends contacting your housing system provider. If your system supplier does not already have an integration with Brunata, we encourage them to contact Brunata for an integration.
Brunata can only handle one email address on a resident. So, if it is possible to save multiple emails in the housing system only the first email registered is sent to Brunata.
Brunata wants to ensure that the accounting is delivered on time.
Therefore, Brunata would like to receive a resident list as soon as it is ready.
This will allow Brunata to begin the accounting process quickly, as the resident list acts as a mutual agreement between Brunata and the customer on what is to be accounted for.
Moves reported during an accounting period risk being left out of the final resident list.
Therefore, Brunata needs the resident list, as a mutual agreement between the customer and Brunata, to ensure the accounting is done on the correct data.

If you, by any chance, have not received the accounting from Brunata, it is always possible for you to find it in Brunata Online Archive in Brunata Online.
You have different options on how to proceed:
1. You can choose not to use the integration on this specific system.
2. Brunata is able to split the accounts into two different systems, so it will fit into the structure in UNIK.

If not the case, Brunata will help you ensure that data is being updated.

If you make use of the integration from your used Housing System and Brunata, you have to be aware that the following actions may cause issues if reported in Brunata Online instead of being reported from the Housing System:
– Registration of moves
– Updates on residents
If you accidentally made use of Brunata Online in one of the above scenarios while the building is making use of the integration, we recommend for you to contact Brunata to ensure that the data on the residents aligns with the information that we have.
If you try to make changes to an already reported move-out-date on a resident, you have to contact Brunata to make the change. The integration between the Housing System and Brunata doesn’t allow for move-out-dates to be changed/deleted.
