Brunata’s smoke detector monitoring service offers an enhanced level of safety. Our smoke detectors sense smoke and emit a local alarm to alert residents in case of fire, functioning just like conventional smoke detectors.
Furthermore, our Smart Building service continuously monitors the smoke detectors in your properties and promptly notifies you if any of them are malfunctioning.
Faulty smoke detectors significantly elevate the risk of fire-related fatalities
Eighty percent of all fire-related deaths and injuries occur in the home*. A properly functioning smoke detector more than doubles the chances of residents surviving a fire.
However, many smoke detectors in Danish homes do not operate optimally. This is often due to depleted batteries or excessive sensitivity, which results in false alarms and leads residents to deactivate the smoke detectors manually.

Similar to our other Smart Building services, smoke detector monitoring operates on a subscription model, requiring a fixed annual fee per sensor.

Avoid malfunctioning smoke detectors
The smoke detector monitors its functional status, including battery condition and any disassembly, and transmits this information to Brunata’s digital platform, Brunata Online. Should a smoke detector be deactivated or manually disassembled, you or your service team will receive an immediate email notification, enabling prompt reinstallation.
In the event of a defective smoke detector, Brunata’s service team is automatically alerted and will undertake the necessary repairs.
Keep the appropriate stakeholders informed
You may add up to eight email addresses to the notification list. This feature is particularly useful for notifying facility management teams or board members.
